Referral FAQs
Who can make a referral?
Any professional working with the client — hospitals, recovery programmes, social workers, case managers, courts, shelters, and primary care providers. Clients and family members can also get in touch directly.
How quickly will you contact the client?
Our intake team reviews every referral and contacts the client within one business day. For anything urgent, call our intake line directly rather than using the form.
What information do I need to provide?
The client’s name and contact details, the reason for referral, and your own contact details so we can update you. Insurance details help but are not required to start.
Do you accept clients without insurance?
Yes. We accept Medicaid, Medicare and several major plans, and we have a self-pay route for clients without coverage. See the Insurance & Payment page for the full list.
Will I be told what happens next?
Yes — with the client’s consent we confirm once an appointment is scheduled and care has commenced.
